We were thrilled to have been invited to be part of the keynote to Google's recent Chrome Developer Summit for our work.
It also previews some of the exciting new features we're actively working on.
Unless you're a software developer, you might not follow all the technical details. But regardless, it was quite affirming to see our app featured prominently by a tech giant like Google.
Here's the relevant section of the keynote:
We would love to hear your thoughts on the two new features we're demonstrating here.
First, there's the large TV screen on the wall idea that we're calling VitalVision™. It's a bit hard to see in the video, but we're replicating the waveforms from the monitor on that huge screen as well as showing latest drugs administered and status of current vitals sensors.
Second, is the voice command capabilities, which we're calling ActiveVoice™. The idea here is that certain things like recording drug doses, would be nice to be able to do without stopping what you're doing. It's challenging to get this type of feature just right and we don't want to release it until we're happy with it. But we think there's a lot of potential for this feature to dramatically simplify the process of recording various aspects of the case as they happen.
We're excited about hopefully being able to offer these capabilities to everyone down the road. If these are features you'd love to see sooner than later we'd love to hear from you: support@xchart.com.
